History
The Pride of Sestao
Roots of steel and coal since 1923.
The Foundation
Sociedad Deportiva San Pedro was founded in 1923 in Sestao (Biscay), on the left bank of the estuary, as a neighbourhood club. That same year it chose its colours: FC Barcelona won the 1923 Spanish Championship, and the club adopted the azulgrana (blue and garnet), which has been its identity ever since.
It plays its home games at the historic Las Llanas municipal ground, also opened in 1923, while its youth academy grows at the Galindo facilities.
Today San Pedro is, above all, a grassroots club: around 230 boys and girls across eleven teams from pre-benjamín up to the senior B side, in addition to the first team. Players who reached the very top came through its ranks, such as Manu Sarabia, a Spain international and Athletic Club legend, who took his first steps here.
More than a hundred years on, the club stays true to itself: football, neighbourhood and azulgrana since 1923.

1995/96
First promotion to the Tercera División.
1997/98
5th in Tercera, the club's best ever finish.
2003/04
Return to the Tercera División via a play-off (Berio and Ariznabarra).
2015/16
Promotion to the División de Honor on the final matchday against Uritarra.
2017/18
Return to national level.
2023
Centenary: 100 years of football on the left bank.

The first team competes aiming to return to the División de Honor.
